The North Boone Vikings picked up two runs on two hits in a 2A state semifinal game for the 2-0 win over Auburn on Friday. Lauren Stefek and Danielle Goodman drove in the two runs for North Boone. Auburn’s Meena Taylor struck out 14 and allowed just two hits in seven innings pitched. The Trojans will play for 3rd place against Rockridge on Saturday at 2pm.
