Triad scored with 2:20 left in regulation and added one more before the clock ran out to beat Glenwood 2-0 and punch their ticket to state on Friday. London Looby scored the first goal and Alina Ayran added the insurance goal late. Triad sophomore keeper Payton Hartmann preserved the shutout with multiple great saves, including blocking a penalty kick with 7 minutes left in the first half. Triad will play Peoria Notre Dame on Friday at 3 pm in the Class 2A semifinal.
