In their first postseason game in Class 2A, the Pleasant Plains Cardinals had no trouble advancing to the regional title game. Powered by Bailey Leach and Callie Wagner, the Cardinals beat Jerseyville 9-0 to advance to the 2A Jacksonville regional championship game against Rochester. Elle Walker preserved the shutout for Plains, who will play at 11 am in Jacksonville on Saturday.
