The Tri-City/Sangamon Valley/Mt Pulaski Tornadoes picked up a 10-3 win in game one of a Saturday double header against Nokomis to claim the MSM outright. Lillian Woodworth struck out 12 in 7 innings pitched while also driving in two runs. Savannah Sladek also picked up two RBIs with a two run homer.
In game two TCSVMP won 14-2 for a perfect 8-0 conference record.
