Sacred Heart-Griffin defeated Normal U-High 4-3 in eight innings on Tuesday afternoon. The walk-off came from the bat of Andy Antonacci, after a nine pitch battle. Antonacci had a triple, single and two walks earlier in the game. Chuck Linderman had four hits and reached base in all five of his at bats as the Cyclone lead-off hitter. Devan Tupper threw six innings and gave up just two runs for the Pioneers. The loss was just the second in conference play for Normal U-High.
