No Split This Season: Olympia Earns Outright Sangamo Crown With Win At Auburn

Olympia watched a two run lead erased with one swing in the bottom of the sixth inning but responded with a run in the top of the seventh to beat Auburn 3-2 in the Sangamo conference championship on Monday, a game that was picked up in the top of the third inning after being postponed two weeks ago. Shelby Finchum hit a sac fly in the seventh for the win, after scoring the game’s first run in the fourth after a triple. Addison Wheatley drove in the two Trojan runs. Daniza Frazier got the win on the mound for the Spartans who win the Sangamo title outright this season and improve to 24-1-1.
