Lily Woodworth and Faith Nestler both struck out the side in the fifth inning as the scoreboard stayed on zero. The offenses came alive in just one inning, the sixth and the visiting Cardinals put up three runs for the win. Pleasant Plains beat Tri-City Sangamon Valley Mt Pulaski 3-1 thanks to a two run home run from Kayden Skinner and a RBI bunt single from Addy Davis. Kamryn Sturdy earned the RBI for the Tornadoes who fall to 20-4 on the season, while the Cardinals improve to 18-10.
