The Glenwood Titans are the 2024 Girls Central State Eight Track and Field champions after a win at Ray Ramsey Track at Memorial Stadium on Thursday night. Glenwood won with a score of 175 points while Normal U-High took second with 136 points and Sacred Heart Griffin finished third. Four meet records were broken this year. Glenwood’s Katelyn Lehnen broke the 100 meter and 200 meter records, Lincoln’s Becca Heitzig broke the 800 meter record and the Titan’s Reese Wolfe broke the pole vault record.
