Cameron Appenzeller threw six scoreless innings and Drew Wahlbrink closed it out as Glenwood beat Sacred Heart Griffin 4-0 for their seventh Central State Eight conference win. The Titans got two RBI from Riley Hickman and one each from Colton Knoedler and Michael Lucas in the second inning. SHG hosts Jacksonville on Thursday, Glenwood travels to Edwardsville to take on the two time defending 4A state champion Tigers on Friday night.
