Pleasant Plains defeated Williamsville 2-1 in Sangamo baseball on Thursday. Owen Johnson had the game’s only RBI on a fielder’s choice and the Cardinal pitching did the rest. Taylor Brewer threw a complete game for the Cardinals with five strikeouts and no earned runs. Joe Catalano kept the Bullets in the game, throwing six innings with just one earned run. Pleasant Plains now sits at 19-3 with the win.
