LLCC: Loggers Roll Past John Wood for Two Wins

G1 – John Wood

The Loggers scored 11 runs in the third inning, which helped them defeat John Wood CC 13-0 on Saturday. an error scored one run, Blair induced Sage Carr to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, Haley Willan doubled, scoring two runs, Allie Dolenc homered to center field, scoring three runs, Destiny Loeb singled, scoring one run, Carr doubled, scoring two runs, and Willan singled, scoring one run.

The Loggers got on the board in the second inning after Bridgette Royer hit a solo home run to center field.

Kylan Arndt opened the game for the Loggers. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking none. Blair opened the game for John Wood. They allowed 16 hits and 13 runs (eight earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Bailey Teasley threw one inning of zero-run ball for the Loggers in relief. The righty allowed one hit, striking out two and walking none.

The Loggers amassed 16 hits in the game. Royer and Willan were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for the Loggers while hitting back-to-back. Willan, Dolenc, and Carr each drove in three runs for the Loggers. Amelia Telger and Charlie Hayes each collected multiple hits for the Loggers.

The Loggers ran wild on the base paths, amassing three stolen bases for the game. The Loggers were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Hayes had the most chances in the field with 10.

Leadoff hitter Lubbert led John Wood CC with two hits in two at bats. John Wood CC turned one double play in the game.

Allie Dolenc drove in four runs on three hits to lead the Loggers past John Wood CC 16-1 on Saturday. Dolenc doubled in the fourth scoring two, hit a solo home run to left field in the third scoring one, and hit a sacrifice fly in the fourth scoring one.

The Loggers scored 12 runs in the fourth inning on the way to victory. Dolenc doubled, scoring two runs, Sage Carr doubled, scoring one run, Maranda File doubled, scoring two runs, Haley Willan doubled, scoring one run, Andee Brown doubled, scoring one run, Kaylee Yost doubled, scoring two runs, Destiny Loeb tripled, scoring two runs, and Dolenc hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

The Loggers were the first to get on the board in the second when an error scored one run. Dolenc hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the third for the Loggers.

Macy Pierce earned the win for the Loggers. The righty gave up three hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Bartels took the loss for John Wood CC. The starting pitcher went five innings, surrendering 16 runs on 21 hits, striking out one and walking two. Bailey Teasley tossed one and two-thirds innings of zero-run ball for the Loggers in relief. The righty surrendered zero hits, striking out four and walking one.

The Loggers collected 21 hits in the game. Loeb, Willan, Dolenc, and Carr each collected three hits for the Loggers. Yost, Emmy Renfro, Hannah Myers, and Brown each collected multiple hits for the Loggers. The Loggers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Renfro had the most chances in the field with seven. Jaylen Lubert, Boschert, and Airloyo each collected one hit for John Wood CC.
