G1 – Spoon River
The Loggers couldn’t keep up with Spoon River College and fell 8-0 on Saturday. Spoon River College were the first to get on the board in the fourth when an error scored two runs. Kylee Hadsall hit a grand slam to left field in the top of the fifth for the Spoon River College.
Emma Slayback earned the win for Spoon River College. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out four and walking two. Bailey Teasley took the loss for the Loggers.
The starting pitcher went four and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs (zero earned) on eight hits, striking out three and walking one. Haley Willan and Sage Carr each collected one hit for the Loggers.
Spoon River College piled up 13 hits in the game. Hadsall, the number seven hitter for Spoon River College, led the way with four runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Kylie Simmons, Hadsall, Brynna Seitz, Raivyn Millions, and Emily Meloche each collected two hits for Spoon River College. Spoon River College were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Erin Pulliam made the most plays with 13.

G2 – Spoon River
The Loggers could not keep up with Spoon River College 4-1 on Saturday. Spoon River College opened the scoring in the first after Erin Pulliam hit a solo home run to left field. Spoon River College added two runs in the third after Pulliam doubled. The Loggers scored one run in the bottom of the fifth on a solo home run to center field by Bridgette Royer. Sarah Stufflebeam hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the sixth for the Spoon River College.
Allyson Harrold earned the win for Spoon River College. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out seven and walking two. Kaylee Yost took the loss for the Loggers. The right-handed pitcher went seven innings, surrendering four runs on 10 hits, striking out nine and walking one.
Royer led the Loggers with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. The Loggers turned one double play in the game. The Loggers were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Andee Brown had the most chances in the field with nine.
Pulliam drove the middle of the lineup, leading Spoon River College with three runs batted in. The first baseman went 3-for-4 on the day. Pulliam and Emily Meloche were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Spoon River College. Raivyn Millions collected two hits for Spoon River College in four at bats. Spoon River College were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Pulliam had the most chances in the field with 11.
