The Glenwood Titans picked up a 5-2 win over the Normal U-High Pioneers in nine innings for their first CS8 win of the year. Ryleigh Kiel led the way for Glenwood with three hits and one RBI. Kate Feld broke the tie in the top of the ninth with a solo homer. Irie Lohrenz allowed two runs and struck out 10 in nine innings pitched. Emme Steward and Ryan Coombs both had two hits for the Pioneers while Maggie Stadler struck out 15 in 8.2 innings pitched. Glenwood hosts Pontic on Thursday while U-High hosts Tolono Unity on Friday.
