Game 1 – Indian Hills
Loggers lost to Indian Hills Community College 5-1 on Saturday at Millington. Indian Hills Community College got on the board in the second inning after Raul Torres drew a walk, scoring one run. Caleb Royer hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Loggers tie the game at one in the bottom of the second. Indian Hills Community College took the lead in the top of the fourth. Dylan Sayles singled, scoring one run, to give Indian Hills Community College the upper hand, 2-1.
Andrei Gordeev earned the win for Indian Hills Community College. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and one run over six innings, striking out nine and walking two. Mitch Dye took the loss for Loggers. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering two runs on three hits, striking out six and walking five.
Austin Adcock went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Loggers in hits. Royer led the team with one run batted in. Loggers turned two double plays in the game. Loggers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Evan Kochel had the most chances in the field with 10.
Miguel Salazar seized on their opportunities, leading Indian Hills Community College with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The second baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. Torres and Sayles each collected two hits for Indian Hills Community College. Indian Hills Community College had a strong eye at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Torres and JJ Dutton led the team with two walks each. Dutton stole two bases. Indian Hills Community College stole four bases in the game. Indian Hills Community College didn’t commit a single error in the field. Logan Myers had the most chances in the field with nine.

Game 2 – University of Arkansas Rich Mountain
Austin Adcock drove in four runs on three hits to lead Loggers past University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Bucks 7-5 on Saturday at Millington. Adcock singled in the third inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the fourth inning, scoring two. Jack Wajda struck out 10 batters on the day. The righty also surrendered four hits and four runs over five innings while walking two. Loggers got on the board in the second inning after Caleb Royer singled, scoring one run. Loggers extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI singles by Adcock and Royer. University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Bucks tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a double by Caden Brown, a double by Jack Biliski, and an error. A single by Adcock gave Loggers the lead, 6-4, in the top of the fourth. Clint Lafferty took the loss for University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Bucks. The right-handed pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs on three hits, striking out five and walking three. Eli Curtis collected the save.
Royer collected two hits for Loggers in three at bats. Wandel Campana and Hunter Moser each stole multiple bases for Loggers. Loggers stole four bases in the game. Brown, showed the depth of University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Bucks lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Biliski provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Bucks with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day.
