Jacksonville’s Oliver Cooley earned a third place finish in the Class 2A state tournament at 215 pounds on Saturday to highlight six area wrestlers who won to earn a podium finish. Glenwood’s Ben Maduena, Lincoln’s Dawson McConnell and Olympia’s Dylan Eimer finished in fourth place. Glenwood’s Max Wiezorek won fifth place, Olympia’s Nolen Yeary finished in sixth place.
