Lanphier beat Springfield High 47-44 in the nightcap on day two of the City tournament, as the top seeded Lions held off a late Senators’ charge after trailing at halftime as well. JaiQuan Holman had 17 points and Shaun Hatchett Jr added 13 points and 6 rebounds. Valor Komolafe had 10 points and 9 rebounds for the Senators, who will play Southeast on Friday, while Lanpheir finishes the four games on Day Three Friday night by playing Sacred Heart Griffin.
