Emma Scheffler scored 15 points and Ariana Williams added 11 points and 8 rebounds to power Springfield High to a 50-43 win over Southeast in game one of the 2024 City girls basketball tournament on Wednesday evening. Marisa Gant led all scorers with 18 points. Springfield High will play Lanphier at 4 pm on Friday, Southeast will play SHG at 7:30 pm on Friday.
