Despite struggling from the free throw line in teh fourth quarter, New Berlin held on for a 41-39 win over Pleasant Plains in the 2024 Sangamon County Tournament. The Cardinals had a three go off the front rim at the buzzer that would have won them the game. Gannon Dodd led the Pretzels in scoring, New Berlin awaits the winner of Tuesday’s game between Williamsville and Athens/TCSV in Thursday’s 6:30 pm semifinal.
