The Athens Warriors defeated the Tri-City Sangamon Valley Tornadoes 43-29 to advance to the second round of the Sangamon County Tournament. The Warriors extended their lead in the second quarter, not surrendering a single field goal in the quarter. Athens takes on Williamsville Tuesday night at 8 pm.
