In a battle of the top two teams in 3A according to the AP polls, Lincoln pulled away from Peoria for a massive 57-25 win to claim the Peoria Manual Holiday Tournament title led by Kloe Froebe. Peoria star and Iowa recruit Aaliyah Guyton left the game at the end of the first half with a lower body injury and did not return. Lincoln held Peoria to just four second half points.
