The MacArthur Generals defeated the Lanphier Lions 74-68 in overtime to secure an early season Central State Eight victory. The Lions overcame a 12 point halftime deficit to take the lead in the fourth quarter. Stevie Tatum and King Dees led the way for the Generals with 25 and 19 points respectively. Jessie Bates led Lanphier in scoring with 22, followed by Jaiquan Holman with 17.
