Rochester football will play for their ninth state title on Friday after beating Murphysboro 42-14 in the 4A semifinal on Saturday afternoon. Nolan Mrozowski scored three rushing touchdowns and Bryan Zulauf threw three touchdowns, two of them to Mason Jacobs as the Rockets led 42-0 to trip the running clock late in the third quarter. Rochester will play St Laurence on Friday at 7 pm in Normal at Hancock Stadium for the 4A state title.
