Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

Lucas Bixby (New Berlin Football) Despite a loss on Friday night in Williamsville Bixby had a monster performance on the football field. He finished with 474 total yards and three touchdowns. He connected for three passing touchdowns and 330 yards while rushing for another 144 yards and three TDs. See all six of those touchdowns HERE.

Ki’on Carson (Lincoln Football) The Railsplitters are playoff eligible for the first time since 1984! Lincoln picked up a 41-28 victory over Jacksonville on Friday night to make them 5-1 this season. Carson had 124 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and picked up another 50 yards and TD in the air. Check out the highlights of their fifth win HERE.

Braddock Cates (Williamsville Football) The Bullets got a big performance from Cates in their 56-41 win over New Berlin in week six. The junior rushed for 297 yards and three touchdowns. He also had three receptions for 55 yards. Check out all the touchdowns in the Sangamo matchup HERE.

Izzy Hassebrock (Sacred Heart Griffin Girls Golf) The Cyclones and Hassebrock are regional champs! At the 1A Auburn regional on Thursday it was Hassebrock who picked up medalist honors shooting a 67. She led SHG to a team victory with a score of 321, 71 strokes ahead of the second place team.

Myson Johnson-Cook (MacArthur Football) The Generals traveled to Eisenhower on Friday for the cross town rivalry game. It was Johnson-Cook who helped lead MacArthur to a 62-14 win over the Panthers. He finished with five touchdowns in the game to continue his freshman campaign. See some of those touchdowns HERE.

Cal Johnson (Sacred Heart Griffin Boys Golf) Another SHG team who picked up a regional champion last week was the boys golf team. At the 2A Champaign Centennial regional on Wednesday it was Johnson who led the Cyclones to a team victory as he picked up medalist honors shooting a 71. SHG took first with a score of 300.

Hope Keenan (Williamsville Volleyball) Williamsville moved to 7-0 in the Sangamo last week with wins over Pleasant Plains and Olympia. In the three set victory over Plains, it was Keenan with a great serving performance late in the third set to help tie then take the lead. She finished the 2-1 victory with 3 aces and 10 digs. Landon Kutscher (Rochester Boys Soccer) The Rockets are the lone unbeaten team in the Central State Eight after a win over Glenwood on Wednesday. Kutscher came up with the game tying goal with just under 11 minutes to play before Rochester eventually won in PKs. See the highlights of the victory HERE.

Josh McClain (Sacred Heart Griffin Football) A big week six game in Chatham as the Cyclones picked up a fifth win with the 24-17 victory over Glenwood. McClain got the scoring start with a 36 yard touchdown reception in the first. He finished the game with five catches for 112 yards and one score. Highlights of the SHG victory HERE.

Logan Smith (South County Boys Golf) South County is heading to sectionals as a team after picking up a regional championship at the 2A Taylorville regional on Wednesday. Smith was medalist with a 77, while the team took first with a score of 345.

Levyn Snow (Normal U-High Volleyball) The Pioneers picked up a big win on Thursday night at home to become the lone unbeaten team in the Central State Eight. In the 26-24, 25-22 two set win over Lincoln, Snow led the way with 6 kills along with an ace and a block. Check out the highlights of the battle of the two CS8 unbeaten teams HERE.

Garrett Timm (Williamsville Boys Soccer) The Williamsville Bullets are conference champs after securing the 4-0 conference record with a win over Athens on Thursday. Timm had a shutout in goal to help Williamsville pick up the 3-0 victory. Highlights of their matchup with Athens HERE.

Alek Weiland (Normal U-High Football) The Pioneers are playoff eligible! U-High got a win over Urbana in non conference action to move to 5-1 this season. Weiland completed 12 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns in the big win. A couple highlights from that victory thanks to WMBD HERE.
