The Glenwood girls cross country team is ranked #1 in 2A and they showed why on Saturday at the 2023 Springfield High cross country invite at Lincoln Park. The Titans took the team title led by Ashlyn Chopra who finished in second place, behind Becca Heitzig from Lincoln who won with a time of 18:04.
On the boys side, Julian Baker won the individual race for Mt Zion, while Mt Vernon won the team title. Taylorville’s Owen Morgan finished in second place.
