The Land Sweeps The Blue Storm in Straight Sets

The Loggers traveled to Belleville, Illinois to take on the SWIC. The Land swept the Blue Storm in straight sets, with set scores including 25-18, 25-12 and 25-23.
 
Lincoln Land came out strong with a balanced attack lead by sophomore setter Kenna Bixby. Bixby tallied 37 assists. Peyton Bergschneider with another outstanding match, the freshman notched another double double with 10 kills and 16 digs.
 
Hailee Belsher had an outstanding performance from the middle position with 9 kills on 16 swings, finishing the match with a .500 hitting percentage. Mckenna Blackwell notched 9 kills and 2 aces, respectively. Hannah Clayton only attacked from the left pin in the first set with 5 kills on 8 swings with zero errors, posting a .625 hitting percentage. Lily Little got some time off the bench notching 5 kills from the right side, respectively.
 
The Loggers look forward to their last home match, tomorrow evening at Cass Gym, starting at 6:00 pm. The program will celebrate the four sophomores in honor of sophomore night. Lincoln Land will also partake in Superfan Game Day, all are welcome to come support the Loggers and participate in prize giveaways plus free popcorn for all.
