Both defenses and goalies preserved the shutout in the first game of the Thursday doubleheader at the Four Corners Classic. Sacred Heart Griffin and Pleasant Plains played to a 0-0 draw as keepers Cannon Duke and Edson Frey got the shutout. Williamsville defeated Riverton in the nightcap 3-1.
Pleasant Plains will play Williamsville at 11 am on Saturday, followed by Sacred Heart Griffin vs Beardstown to conclude the tourney.
