The Lincoln Land Loggers swept the Spoon River Snappers in straight sets Wednesday in another full Cass Gym. Set scores included 25-19, 25-10, 25-18.
The Loggers were able to interchange all three defensive specialist in the libero position for each set tonight, starting with Olivia Torricelli in set one, followed by Sydney McTaggart than Faith Kientzle in the third set. The trio combined for a total of 12 digs.
Peyton Bergschneider led the team with a double double notching 10 kills and 10 digs. Kenna Bixby dished 32 assist and chipped in 5 digs. Hannah Clayton also led the team in digs with 13 total and adding 8 kills. Hailee Belsher and McKenna Blackwell each added 8 kills a peice.
The Loggers take a break until next Wednesday, when they travel to Champaign to face the Cobras of Prakland.
