Zac Laird and Cory Craig Jr found the end zone multiple times for the Warriors as Athens beat Pittsfield 41-7 after leading 41-0 at halftime to trip the running clock. Drew Cushman threw a couple touchdown passes and Laird scooped and scored on an 82 yard fumble recovery late in the first half. Athens travels to Pleasant Plains in Week 2, Pittsfield hosts Olympia.
