Rochester won the first set, but the Cardinals settled in and won the next two to claim a 21-25, 25-14, 25-20 victory over the Rockets. Pleasant Plains was led by Anna Cormeny’s 10 kills, Willow Milkint added 8, Jordan Butcher had 7 and Sydney McAfee had 6. Claire Long had 18 assists and Adi Fraase added 15. The Rockets got 8 kills from Peyton Zeidler, 5 from Grace Jameson and 4 from Ellie Gegen on 19 assists from Charlotte Beatty. The Cardinals travel to the Macomb tourney this weekend while Rochester hosts Williamsville on Monday.
