Fresh off a state run, Taylorville took the first set on the road at Rochester on opening night but the Rockets settled in and won the next two for a three set victory in the Route 29 rivalry game. The Tornadoes took the first set 25-19, Rochester won the second set 25-21 and the third 25-13. Rochester hosts Southeast on Tuesday, Taylorville hosts Shelbyville on Thursday.
