The Pleasant Plains Cardinals defeated the Beardstown Tigers 5-0 to take the 1A North Mac regional crown on Saturday evening. Ella Wilcockson led the Cardinals with 2 goals. The Plains defense only gave up one shot on goal. Pleasant Plains will play Hillsboro at Riverton on Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the sectional semifinal.
