The Springfield High Senators and Rochester Rockets took to the field on Tuesday afternoon in Central State Eight action. The Senators picked up the 2-1 victory after taking an early lead in the first. Mia Volpert pitched seven innings allowing four hits and one run while striking out 12. These two will play game two of the CS8 series tomorrow on Wednesday at UIS.
