A complete game shutout from Griffin Burk including working out of a bases loaded, no outs jam in the seventh inning powered Springfield High to a 2-0 win over Normal U-High. Burk drove in the Senators’ first run in the first inning and Seth Impson tripled in the third and was brought in by Ryne Crum. The win keeps the Senators one win behind Glenwood in the CS8 standings. Springfield travel to Normal to take on U-High at 6 pm on Wednesday evening.
