LLCC: Softball Finish with a Win and a Loss Against Moberly Area at Home

LLCC vs Moberly Area Game 1:
Bats were blistered as Lincoln Land defeated Moberly Area Community College 9-6 on Thursday. The Loggers fired up the offense in the second inning, when an error scored one run for Lincoln Land.
The Loggers tallied six runs in the fourth inning, with batters contributing to the big inning included Mady Wear, Andee Brown, Nyla Cooper, and Molly Hughes, who each had RBIs in the inning. Moberly Area Community College scored three runs in the seventh inning.  Jadyn Hamilton and Emma Bruno powered the big inning with RBIs. Bailey Teasley earned the win for Lincoln Land. Teasley allowed four hits and three runs over six innings, striking out six and walking one. Torrie McAdams threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Gracie Hatton took the loss for Moberly Area. The pitcher went three innings, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out three and walking one. Sidney Glick, Maranda File, Cooper, Addison Cline, Wear, and Alivia Hemberger each managed one hit to lead Lincoln Land. Brooklyn Spillman led Moberly Area with two hits in three at bats.LLCC vs Moberly Area Game 2:Lincoln Land stayed in it until the end, but Moberly Area pulled away late in a 3-1 victory on Thursday.  The game was tied at one with Moberly Area batting in the top of the sixth. The pitching was strong on both sides.Moberly Area pitchers struck out six, while the Loggers sat down six. Mady Klostermann earned the win for Moberly Area. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out six and walking zero. Abigayle McNelly started the game for Moberly Area. McNelly surrendered one run on one hit over four innings, walking zeroMady Wear went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Lincoln Land Loggers in hits. Mackenzie Chance Roofener led Moberly Area with two hits in two at bats.
