LLCC: Loggers Take Down Lake Land on the Road

The Loggers sailed to an easy victory over Lake Land College 12-3 on Wednesday. The Loggers got things moving in the first inning, when Luke Kracik homered on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs. The Loggers put up five runs in the fourth inning.  Lincoln Land’s big bats were led by Wandel Campana, Hunter Moser, Caleb Royer, and Kracik, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Sergio Marchizza was on the mound for the Loggers. Marchizza lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out six. Colton Fearday started the game for Lake Land College. The lefty surrendered seven runs on five hits over three innings, striking out two.  Logan Wombles, Brock Barton, and Seth Hotze each contributed in relief for Lake Land.
The Loggers tallied one home run on the day. Kracik put one out in the first inning. The Loggers tallied 12 hits on the day.  Campana, Kracik, Grant Pohlman, and Moser all collected multiple hits for Lincoln Land.  Moser, Pohlman, Kracik, and Campana all had two hits to lead the Loggers. Gio Gonzalez led Lake Land with two hits in four at bats.
