Moore allowed ten hits and eight runs over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Wear led the Loggers with one hit in two at bats. Illinois Central tallied ten hits in the game. Kylie Hyde, Gracie White, Olivia Stirnaman, and Shylar Boze all had multiple hits for ICC. Illinois Central was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. The game was tied at six with ICC batting in the top of the sixth. Lincoln Land Loggers collected ten hits and Illinois Central had 12 in the high-scoring affair. Lincoln Land took an early lead in the second inning when Alivia Hemberger grounded out, scoring one run. The Loggers knotted the game up at six in the bottom of the fifth inning. Lincoln Land scored one run when Macy Pierce doubled.After ICC scored three runs in the top of the third, Lincoln Land answered with three of their own. ICC scored when Alyssa Beltran homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs. The Loggers then answered when Haley Willan doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs and Pierce grounded out, scoring one run. Olivia Drish was the winning pitcher for Illinois Central College . The ace surrendered six runs on nine hits over five innings, striking out one. Amber Lee threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Bailey Teasley took the loss for Lincoln Land. The righty went six innings, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and striking out two.ICC mashed two home runs on the day. Kiersten Manning went for the long ball in the fifth inning. Beltran had a homer in the third inning. Lincoln Land racked up ten hits. Molly Hughes, Willan, and Andee Brown all managed multiple hits for the Loggers. Hughes led the Loggers with three hits in three at bats. ICC collected 12 hits on the day. Manning, Olivia Stirnaman, Lee, and Kelsey Gillette all had multiple hits for Illinois Central College. Manning went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead ICC in hits.
