The Loggers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-4 loss to Pasco-Hernando State College on Wednesday. Pasco-Hernando scored on a single by Aidan Corn in the first inning, a double by Kohl Robertson in the second inning, and a single by Corn in the second inning. Pasco-hernando State College got things moving in the first inning. Pasco-hernando State College scored one run when Corn singled.
Lincoln Land notched three runs in the ninth inning. The Loggers offense in the inning came from singles by Caleb Royer and Wandel Campana.
Pasco-Hernando State College scored four runs in the second inning. Robertson, Dylan DeGusipe, and Corn all drove in runs in the frame. Hunter Booth got the win for Pasco-Hernando. The righthander surrendered one run on two hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Ben Draeger took the loss for the Loggers. The righthander surrendered five runs on five hits over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Campana led the Loggers with two hits in four at bats.
Pasco-Hernando State College racked up 11 hits. Corn, Clay Badylack, Robertson, and Chay Yeager all had multiple hits for Pasco-Hernando. Corn went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Pasco-Hernando in hits.
