LLCC: Softball Notches 3 Wins in Triple Header

LLCC vs Lake Michigan College (Game 1):
Bailey Teasley shut down Lake Michigan College, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Lincoln Land to a 6-0 victory on Sunday. The Loggers secured the victory thanks to four runs in the third inning.  Andee Brown and Mady Wear each had RBIs in the big inning.
One bright spot for Lake Michigan College was a single by Hailey Robinson in the first inning. Teasley was the winning pitcher for the Loggers. The righthander surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out eight. Karly Manning took the loss for Lake Michigan College. The bulldog went seven innings, allowing six runs on six hits and striking out ten. The Loggers socked one home run on the day. Wear had a four bagger in the third inning. Wear led the Loggers with two hits in four at bats.LLCC vs Jackson College (Game 2):
Lincoln Land nabbed the lead late in the game in a 6-5 victory over Jackson College on Sunday.  The game was tied at five with LLCC batting in the bottom of the sixth when Mady Wear singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. The Loggers were boosted by Wear who went 4-for-4 at the plate.  Wear tripled in the first, doubled in the third, doubled in the fourth, and singled in the sixth.
 
Karley Moore was credited with the victory for Lincoln Land. Moore surrendered five runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking zero. Ashley Williams took the loss for Jackson College. The pitcher surrendered six runs on nine hits over six innings, striking out nine.
 
The Loggers totaled nine hits in the game.  Wear, Charlotte Hayes, and Alivia Hemberger all managed multiple hits for Lincoln Land.  Wear went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Loggers in hits.LLCC vs Hocking College (Game 3):Maranda File threw a shutout to lead Lincoln Land past Hocking College 2-0 on Sunday.The pitching was strong on both sides. File struck out two, while Hocking College pitchers sat down ten.A single by Grace Hash in the sixth inning was a positive for Hocking College.
File was the winning pitcher for Lincoln Land Loggers. The righthander lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two.
 
Kristen Strumack took the loss for Hocking College. The hurler went six and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out ten.Sidney Glick, Gatlyn Etter, File, and Sage Carr each collected one hit to lead Lincoln Land.Hash went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Hocking College in hits.
