In the first inning, The Loggers got their offense started when Drew Ezard doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Ben Draeger earned the win for The Loggers. The righty allowed five hits and four runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking one.
Shane Kearbey led things off on the mound for East Central College MO. The pitcher surrendered nine runs on ten hits over three innings, striking out four. Sam Oermann threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.

It came down to the last play, buy The Loggers were on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Iowa Central Community College on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Iowa Central Community College batting in the bottom of the seventh when Michael Siemer hit a solo homer.
Despite the loss, The Loggers did collect five hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Iowa Central Community College had ten hits on the way to victory.
Iowa Central Community College took an early lead in the second inning when Zakary Goodwin’s sac fly scored one run for Iowa Central Community College.
The Loggers scored four runs in the fifth inning. Nolan McMasters and Wandel Campana each had RBIs in the frame.
Evan Borst was the winning pitcher for Iowa Central Community College. The righthander lasted two innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three and walking one. Nile Foss and Ian Culver entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
