The Central State Eight tournament semifinals were Saturday morning at Velasco Tennis Center in Washington Park and we caught some of the action. The singles semifinals were Springfield High’s Nischi Korrapati against Glenwood’s Abby Ryan and Glenwood’s Samantha Shankland against Sacred Heart Griffin’s Caroline Sheehan. The doubles semifinals were Glenwood’s Mander & Ehrlich against Springfield High’s Ingebrigsten & Shannon and Glenwood’s DeStasio & Kagan against Normal U-High’s Feely & Martin.
