The Pleasant Plains Cardinals hosted St Teresa to open the season at home on Tuesday night. The Cardinals picked up the sweep of the Bulldogs, 25-18, 25-15. Lauren Buxton led Plains with eight kills and three blocks, while Paige Weatherford had 19 digs for the Cardinals.
