Kaiden Maurer hit a two out, two run single in the bottom of the eighth inning at the 2A Lincoln Land supersectioanl to send Maroa-Forsyth (32-1) to state with a 4-3 victory over Monticello. Jaxson Grubbs got the win, going all eight innings and hitting a two run home run for the Trojans, who will play Richmond Burton on Friday at 3 pm in Peoria.
