Springfield High got a home run from Nolan Kulavic in the first inning and put up 14 more in six innings to beat Auburn 15-5 on Saturday afternoon. Jack Swaney pitched the first two innings for Springfield, followed by Cooper Burk and Enrico Veach. Griffin Burk had an inside the park home run in the fourth inning and Brody Erickson drove in a few runs for the Senators who are scheduled to play SHG in CS8 action next week, while Auburn travels to New Berlin on Tuesday.
