Springfield High beat Rochester 15-5 in game two of the CS8 doubleheader to sweep the season series on Friday at UIS. Jack Swaney hit a two run home run and was the starting pitcher. Enrico Veach and Seth Impson threw good innings for the Senators as well. Springfield has a doubleheader at Quincy on Saturday before their series with Glenwood in CS8 action next week. Rochester is at Mt Zion on Saturday before their season series with Jacksonville next week.
