Sacred Heart Griffin built a 13 point lead in the second quarter and East St Louis cut it down to two in the fourth quarter led by MaCaleb Rich and Christian Jones. The Cyclones held off the rally to beat the Flyers 60-50 to claim the 3A Springfield supersectional plaque and advance to the final four in Champaign on Saturday. SHG will play St. Ignatius on Friday at 10 am at the State Farm Center.
