Diavian Mehundrew scored 24 and Marisa Gant had 18 to lead Southeast, but the Senators had four in double figures and another with 9 to beat the Spartans 65-52 to open the 2022 girls City basketball tournament at the BOS Center on Thursday evening. Virtuous Komolafe scored 15, Chloe Byrd and Kaleah Toran scored 14 each.
