New Berlin didn’t give up a point in the final seven minutes of the game and advanced to the County championship with a 42-20 win over Auburn in the Thursday semifinal. Gannon Dodd led the scoring charge for the Pretzels in the third quarter as they pulled away from a 16-14 halftime lead. New Berlin will play Pleasant Plains at 8 pm for the 2022 Sangamon County championship.
