The UIS Prairie Star Women’s Basketball team was looking to open the best start in program history when Lincoln University came to town. Without much trouble, the Stars were able to do just that with an 82-48 win on Thursday in their home opener. Malea Jackson led the Stars with 21 points while Lauren Ladowski had 13 and Ellie Mitchell finished with 11.
