Both teams have the pieces for a trip to state in 2A and 3A respectively, so the debut of the new gymnasium on Thursday night was a perfect time to put these two squads on display. Rochester beat Pleasant Plains 13-25, 25-18, 25-14 for a big road win in an excellent atmosphere for volleyball that felt like postseason action.
