After a slow start, Jackson Kern sparked the Auburn crowd with a 100 yard interception return to close the half and give the Trojans a 7-0 lead. The second half was dominated by the Trojans as Treshaun Lancaster and Jackson Kern scored rushing touchdowns to give Auburn a 21-0 shutout win. With the win, Ryan Gardner earned his first victory as Auburn head coach.
